In the heart of Rome’s historic centre lies an area where centuries of religion, symbolism and knowledge have been layered upon one another.
The ancient Campus Martius was originally associated with Mars. Over the centuries, Roman and Egyptian cults and the Christian tradition have left their traces here.
During this experience, we follow these traces around the Pantheon, San Luigi dei Francesi, Santa Maria sopra Minerva and Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza.
We look beyond what is visible on the surface: at ancient cults and symbols, numbers and proportions, and remarkable geometry. What do they reveal about humanity’s search for order, meaning and the connection between humanity and the cosmos?
From these layers of Rome, we then turn inward. During a guided regression, you explore what a place, symbol or theme brings to the surface within you and what memory or experience may be connected to it.

Ancient cults & hidden layers
Discover the traces of Roman and Egyptian cults in the Campus Martius and how later buildings and Christian traditions became intertwined with these older layers.
Symbols & sacred geometry
We explore numbers, proportions and geometric forms in places such as the Pantheon and Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza, and the ideas of order and harmony that lie behind them.
Circle, centre & spiral
From the dome and oculus of the Pantheon to Borromini’s remarkable geometry: circle, centre and spiral recur in different forms. We explore what these forms have meant over the centuries in the relationship between human beings and the cosmos.

✓ There is no entrance fee for the churches. A voluntary donation is appreciated.
✓ Meeting point: Piazza San Luigi de’ Francesi, Rome.
✓ Out of respect for the churches we visit, we ask that shoulders and knees are covered.
✓ We use headsets. Please bring your own earphones or headphones with a 3.5 mm jack.
✓ You will receive a notebook and pen to record your impressions and personal experiences.
